excuse my extended absence from the blog.
Today we will talk about the next three days, the days of the blackbird. They are the last three days of January that traditionally would be the coolest of 'year. Legend has it that the blackbirds were originally all white as snow. A blackbird and his children, to escape the cold in January, remained in the nest throughout the month. When he ended in January (at that time had only 28 days) left the nest the blackbird singing and making fun of January. January February then asked his brother to give him three days and so the blackbird and his family, caught unawares, to survive the cold three days is holed up in a chimney.
When, finally, came the 'shorter hours in February and the blackbird went out and found the gray smoke. His family had become quite black, and since then all the blackbirds were blacks.
